I am so sorry about your daughter. My Danielle, lost her life as well while serving in the Peace Corp. so I can say I know your pain. Pray. Pray. Pray. Each day is so hard that I know that it is not easy to even get up. But for your daughter’s legacy and mine, TRY! Please know you are in my prayers.

Rest in peace, Danielle. I did not know you, but I wish you the best up in heaven and I am sure that you accomplished so many good things for this world in so little time.

As a fellow Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia 09-11 all I can say is I am so sad for your family. I can say from experience that the Peace Corps was among the best days of my life. Know that despite this tragedy your daughter loved what she did, was loved by her community both local and Peace Corps and became an even better and more mature person then when she left the US. She was already an amazing young woman. RIP Danielle and Thank you for your sacrifice!
