Troy Ross, along with fellow volunteers Paul Bond and Gerald Flynn was among the 49 killed when LANSA flight 501, from Lima to Cusco, crashed shortly after takeoff on April 27, 1966.

My mother passed away last year and she often told me about Troy Ross and his good friend Michael J. Korin, whom I have recently contacted by phone. My wish is to find any descendant or family relative of Troy Ross, in order to share with them memories of my mother and Troy. My relatives from Peru still remember Troy. I even have a photo of Troy with my mother, very lively.
